Payroll for HR and outsourcing firms
PayrollMaster lets an HR or outsourcing firm run each client’s payroll from one account. You hold client organisations under an agency account, scope your consultants per client, switch into a client’s books in a click, and every client runs on its own country’s statutory rules.
The problem
Why running someone else’s payroll is harder
For HR consultancies, BPO providers and company-secretarial firms.
You own the people, not the payroll tool
You handle their contracts, their onboarding and their leave — then payroll happens in a spreadsheet a client keeps, and you inherit the errors anyway.
Client data should not mingle
A consultant working one client should not be able to browse another client’s salaries. Without per-client access, separation depends on people remembering it.
Every market is a different rulebook
A client in Kenya and a client in Nigeria do not share a single deduction. Serving both means either two specialisms or one tool that already knows both.
Payroll stops being the part of the engagement you dread.
How it works
How does an agency account work?
Four steps, from adding your first client to seeing the whole book on one screen.
- 1
Add the client
Create a managed organisation for a client who has nothing yet, or invite one that already runs on PayrollMaster. Their employees, pay components and statutory setup live in their own books.
- 2
Scope who sees what
Grant your team access per client. A junior can work one client’s payroll without seeing the rest of the book; a partner sees everything.
- 3
Work the book
Switch into any client’s books in one click, run their payroll on their country’s statutory rules, and switch back. No second login, no separate tool per client.
- 4
See it all at once
The agency dashboard aggregates clients, employees, payroll runs and gross payroll, with a cross-client activity feed showing who did what, where.
What you get
What an agency account gives you

Questions
HR & outsourcing firms: common questions
Can an HR outsourcing firm manage client payroll?
Yes. An agency account holds each client as its own organisation, with granular per-client permissions for your consultants and one-click switching into a client’s books. Each client runs on its own country’s statutory rules.
Can I keep one client’s data invisible to another team?
Yes. Access is granted per client, so a consultant sees only the client organisations they are assigned to. The rest of the book stays closed to them.
Does the client keep their own books?
Yes. Each client is its own organisation with its own employees, pay components and history. You operate inside their books; the data belongs to the client, not to a shared pool.
What if a client eventually wants to run payroll themselves?
Their organisation already exists with their history intact, so handing back is a permission change rather than a migration. That is a reasonable thing to be able to promise a client at the start of an engagement.
Run one client’s month free
Start free, add a single client, and run one real payroll end to end — the deductions, the payslips and the filing. Compare it against whatever you do today before you move the rest of the book.
